I am Asif, as the site title tells you. I am 37, a Pakistani, married and a father of 1 brilliant boy.

I’ve been into computers since there was a 9.6kbps dial up internet in Pakistan. I’ve programmed in D-Base, FoxPro and touched Cobol. (ah! thats too old school eh?). Then after sometime I moved to the Freight Forwarding industry and stayed there for a little longer. I’ve also introduced “e-fax” facility at commercial scale in my area in 1998 with some friends of mine.

After that, I hopped on different industries including general trading, sales and marketing, medical representative etc. Now I have my mobile shop and I deal in new pre-paid mobile phone connections and accessories.

My latest endeavour is my new website, asifim.com and I am getting my feet wet in the all hyped ”Internet Industry”. Lets see where I get from here on.
